The Discovery Reset Dallas is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing engaging, safe, and educational after-school programs for children in the Dallas area.
Mission Statement:
To offer a dedicated space where children are engaged in creative, educational, and fun activities while parents enjoy a well-deserved break. "Friday Night Reset" provides children with enriching experiences in a safe and supportive environment, allowing parents to unwind or take care of personal matters without worry.
Vision Statement:
To provide a balanced and enriching experience for children on Friday nights, fostering creativity, learning, and social growth. Meanwhile, parents are empowered to focus on their own well-being and relaxation, knowing their children are in a safe and enjoyable space. This allows families to start the weekend refreshed and balanced.
Our Story
In earlier years, I was fortunate to be part of an aftercare program that became a cornerstone of my childhood. It wasn’t just a safe place to spend the afternoon—it was a vibrant space that introduced me to arts, culture, science, and the joy of making new friends. Those experiences left me with lasting memories and a sense of curiosity I carry with me today. Without that program, my childhood would have lacked some of the most impactful moments that shaped who I am.

As an adult, I’m inspired to give back to my community by creating a similar opportunity for today’s kids. Our Friday after-school program is designed to foster creativity, learning, and social connections, giving children the chance to explore their passions and build memories they’ll carry with them. We believe every child deserves a chance to experience the magic that comes from being exposed to new ideas, and we’re here to make sure they have it.

In addition, we as an organization recognize that parents also need space to decompress after a busy week. Our program provides a moment for parents to unwind, knowing their children are in a safe and enriching environment. This gives them the chance to reset, so they can carry those enhanced moments into the weekend and continue building those meaningful connections with their kids.
